The new year had me making resolutions to try new things, and learn new musical tasks.  My friends all wanted to learn guitar lessons, so we signed up to take them together.  I was looking forward to having some fun with my friends, and being able to support each other through the process of picking up a new musical skill.  We all picked out special picks, and our guitars we want to use, and are going to be starting class next week. Everyone we talk to is jealous of our brave idea to try something new, and a few more have already joined the class.  This is going to be fun.
