A wonderful area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park one should visit is Deep Creek.   It has a campground complete with showers if you like spending the night in the great outdoors. There are even horse and tube rentals very close by that can afford you and your family with hours of entertainment. If hiking is what you enjoy then there are many trails to keep you occupied for days.  For the photographer who enjoys the Smoky Mountain nature and especially waterfalls you will find 3 within a one mile hike of the main parking lot.  Wading in the shallow waters near the picnic is is really a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.
