If you are looking for some fun family activities, I would suggest visiting your local library.  They offer a wealth of knowledge and also offer various programs and performances for children.  My kids love going to them and I feel great about it.  We spend some quality time and have a lot of fun.  Midwest library shows are a great resource and something that children can look forward to attending.  I feel that we are fortunate to have this resource so close to home.  We can actually walk to our library and we spend countless hours there.  I hope that they continue to promote these types of programs.
