Not long ago I inherited a well-restored Model T Ford from my father. It had been in his garage for years, and he rarely drove it. While it looks and runs fine, it does need some additional restoration now. Before I made any decision about having the restoration done or just selling the car, I decided to have it appraised. When I started looking for companies that do classic car appraisals it became obvious that this was going to be far more complicated than I thought. It turns out that there are appraisers that specialize in different kinds of classic cars. I ended up going to a friend of my father’s that is president of a local car club and he helped me find an appraiser that could help me.
