Using a forex broker with a desktop software platform has positive advantages, but anytime you lose your internet connection you will be disconnected from your broker’s forex trading platform. A desktop system is likely a quicker platform, but you will need to have your desktop computer with you whenever you want to place a trade. The internet trading platform allows you to trade almost anywhere around the world without downloading the software to your pc and you could set a stop loss within your account and simply turn your pc off. Your account would then execute that stop loss at the right price even though your computer is off.
