Some of the animals in Australia are really very unique. On a recent trip down to Australia I was fortunate to have a friend show me around to sanctuaries that contained different species that I had never seen before. One of these animals was a mammal called a platypus. It has a large beak and resides in close proximity to the water. I decided I wanted a souvenir of this animal. After looking into the options I found a site that sold an Australian platypus platinum coin. I got the coin shipped in time prior to departure and now carry it around to remind me of the wonderful time I had down under.
