Twitter. It’s basically facebook with only status updates. It’s facebook without all the stuff that makes it fun. Twitter is a way for normal people to feel famous and to give famous people the ego boost that they apparently need, since apparently being wealthy and powerful doesn’t give them enough of a kick. Twitter makes everything random thought that a person has and decides to post look important, when in reality, 99% of “tweets” are not philosophically or otherwise engaging. When it is important, Twitter helps people express what is on their minds; but at the same time, not actually saying it out loud or in public lessens the effect in my opinion.
