Why Tax Is Not A Bad Thing
April 21, 2009 7:56 am BusinessTax is a very small word for what is a very complex system of collecting money for the government in order for them to pay for the services our country needs, such as hospitals, schools and the police. Although many people think that tax is just what is taken out of their pay packets, it is also payable when we purchase goods such as food or clothes, or even inheritance tax UK when we die. We may feel annoyed about the amount of tax we pay out but, it is unfortunately a fact that, if the government were to lower the level of tax we paid then the services which we rely on would therefore have less money to fund them and we all would suffer. The government would then have to borrow money, thereby increasing interest rates, and this would then impact on your mortgage repayments and credit card repayments and any other loans which you may have.
