Inside a big department store located in our area, in one corner was Santa Claus sitting in a big chair surrounded by christmas GIFTS, his elves and numerous children waiting in line to sit on Santa’s lap to tell him what each of them wants for Christmas. While the children were anxiously waiting for their turn, Santa’s Christmas elves held a small show to entertain the children and their parents present. The children were given free candy canes and tiny chocolates. The parents also took pictures of their children riding Santa’s sleigh and some of the parents even joined their children in riding the sleigh. It was indeed a very fun day at Santa’s Corner.

I am obsessed with Twilight, especially with Edward Cullen. I can’t stop thinking about him or day dreaming about him. My mom is beginning to think it is an unhealthy obsession. Luckily, I don’t listen to my mom and I went out and bought an Edward lifesize standup. It was the best purchase of my life. He sits quietly in the corner of my bedroom staring dreamily at me. I imagine that I’m Bella and he is watching over me as I drift off to sleep. Sometimes I even talk to him late at night and he listens to me. He is more than just cardboard, he’s my boyfriend.

The other day I was shopping for soy wax candles but there were so many out there. I talked with the candle shop owner and she said that not all soy candles are the same. She told me to look for soy candles made with uncut oils. Candles made with uncut oils are more fragrant because the essential oils are not blended with water or less expensive oils. Some candle makers blend their expensive oils with cheaper ones to save on costs but it greatly reduces the effectiveness of the oil. My contractor gave me a choice of what kind of stain I wanted to have applied to my deck and I let him know that I did not want to cover it up.
