The answer of Sony to Sega’s Dreamcast as the first console in the 6th generation era was the Portable PlayStation2 (PSP2).  Its predecessor which is the original PlayStation has a major effect why PSP2 dominated the market.  Both game consoles had caught the attention of third party developers and normal consumers.  It enables users to play DVD and may play with PlayStation games, good thing that it is backward compatible.  On the other hand, Microsoft had chosen Xbox repair to be the first product to attack in the video game console market.
