Which Food Are Detox Diets?

Having started out with the rather intimidating water-based detoxification method, we should ease you into something gentler now to allay your nervousness. Part two will describe a still powerful but less strict diet that’s easier on the body.

Besides a purely water diet, there are other liquid-only options for detox diet plans. Many of them involve mixing other fluids, such as cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and syrup into water for dilution purposes. This gives the body a little more to work with, gives you a little more flavor to enjoy, and is still almost as good at taking out those nasty toxins. Similarly effective and easy are juice-based plans, utilizing the liquids from fruits and vegetables. However, you should be careful to take these with absolutely minimal artificial additives. In most cases, this means making the juice yourself.

If you can’t handle a liquid-only detoxification, then there are some other detox plans that allow food. Part three of this series will begin exploring those even easier plans.
