I am trying to figure out which is the best medication for gout. That way I will have a better idea what I would like my doctor to prescribe for me when I go to see him in a couple days. Does anyone take Allopurinol for gout? I am wondering how well it works, and if there are many side effects. I am going to see if I can find some reviews on the internet somewhere of the different options so I can see which drug usually has the best results with the least side effects. I want to avoid any with lots of side effects.
