I feel so sad for my son. The first thing that happened to him when he hit puberty was that he broke out in pimples all over his face. He can’t wear makeup like the girls do, so he just has to deal with it. Even though other kids his age are dealing with the same thing, he feels like he has it worse than any of them. It is really affecting his self-esteem. I never got zits when I was a kid, so I have no idea how to get rid of acne. I am going to find out, though, because I hate to see him feel so bad about himself.
