My sister hit puberty a lot earlier than the other girls her age, and she was fortunate that she was never teased just because she developed early. I’ve heard lots of stories about “early bloomers” who were teased mercilessly, so I’ve always been glad that my sister was able to avoid that. Especially when her breasts got so large, that my mom decided to get her a breast reduction. Everyone in her class was so supportive after plastic surgery, and I remember that not one of them ever teased her. I hope that I can find a school like that when my kids are old enough to go to school.
