CNA School gives someone the qualifications to become a certified nursing assistant. Duties of a certified nursing assistant will vary somewhat day by day. This small list is similar to what most CNAs would have to do; helping patients to the toilet, cleaning up after patients, helping them prepare for surgery, and answering their calls. In pretty much all cases, the basic duties of a CNA will be to provide bedside care, and to be responsible for basic nurses duties. No doubt, having said that, the CNA is absolutely crucial as part of any health care team. When CNAs are on the health care team, they are always required to work under a registered nurse. This makes total sense of course, as it’s to do with legality and liability.
