The Groom’s father can give the wedding toasts.  He can talk about how he never thought his son would get married and let alone find someone as wonderful as the brider herself.  He can also make jokes about how hard it will be for the bride to put up with him.  Also, he can give some good advice to them.  Most importantly he can welcome his new daughter-in-law into his family.  The Groom’s father will say nice things about both the bride and groom.  He will then wish them a lifetime of happiness and success together.  He can even talk about his life spent with the Groom’s mother.
