Local residents of a mountainous area in the panhandle of Idaho have given their approval to a local exchange of lands which will see an area that was once controlled by a lumber company which will now be under the control of the local forest service who will allow the government to take control of some land which will be used for wildlife preservation in the area. The potential benefit to wildlife in the area is likely to be a great exchange for the lumber company who has been seeking an expansion to its black walnut lumber options in the surrounding area.
