There are only a couple of things that I would like to change about my kitchen and I think the cost to have it done would be minimal.  I contacted a local home improvement kitchen seattle company to give me an estimate.  I want new wood flooring and a center island to be added.  My kitchen is quite large and I often wondered why the previous owners did not put in an island before.  I preferred that the island be made of the same wood as the cabinets so it would fit naturally.  My mother assured me that a good contractor would have no problem doing this for me.
