I’ve always dreamed of being able to design my own home, every detail of it being according to my own needs and desires!  For years now I have gathered ideas and toured other homes looking for what I really liked, and now my dream is coming true.  It’s amazing how many small details there are when it comes to this type of project.  Even little tiny things can make a big difference in whether you just love something or if it’s just okay.  One such example in my kitchen is the knife block, which I designed to be build right into food preparation island I’m having installed.
