Some of my earliest memories were of Mom and Dad laughing and they never seemed to argue.  By the time I got married I was sure I knew exactly how a good relationship worked.  Within a few years my husband  and I had some problems which I was not prepared for and I called my mother.  She suggested I try a website  called Marriage Builders, which she often used.  I was shocked and asked her why a perfect couple needed  help.  Mom told me her marriage had been far from perfect, took a lot of work, and was worth every bit of it.  She also told me to take all the good advice I could get.
