This method is very easy, but it’s disadvantage is that it will probably attract all kinds of insects, including non-honey bees. Another method of attracting wild honeybees is to put a frame of empty brood honeycomb inside the hive(s). Capturing natural or wild honeybee swarms has many drawbacks.
