As a home owner that is thinking about making a move to either a bigger of smaller home in the near future you may have to put your plans on hold if you cannot find anything on the market that you would consider buying.  This is exactly what happened in the Etobicoke real estate market in during the first part of the year.  Many sellers were nervous about listing their homes because of lack of inventory in the market.  But if no one lists their property then you wind up with less choice in the market and it just becomes a vicious cycle.  Thankfully this trend seems to be reversing itself and many homes are now experiencing multiple offers.
