If my husband and I knew then what we knew now we may never have quit our previous job. I am speaking actually in my husband’s case as he was the bread winner in the family and he had a job that had health insurance. We tried to figure out our expenses if he went into a contractor’s position and not on any one’s actual payroll but we did not factor in the increase of health coverage. Now we are looking for affordable health insurance but it seems like we not having any luck even coming remotely close to the options we had when he worked for a big company.
