Having spent years being a totally obsessed fan of the Start Trek series, I thought it was well overdue that I put my obsessive knowledge online in the form of my own fan website. Perfect timing since the new Star Trek movie is coming out soon. But the cost! I thought it was going to be a cheap option, but once the domain is purchased and then the hosting and then all the other bits and bobs that I need to sort to get the site running, I was a little out of pocket. A found some GoDaddy codes that enabled me to save up to 30 per cent on their stuff like domains and web hosting, so that’s a good enough saving that I can afford to complete the project now.
