Ever since I became a mom, I had to figure out new ways to make every single dollar stretch as far as I possibly could.  There are a lot of family budget tips that people might not even think about that really do add up.  One thing I like to do is to make it a game to cut down on our grocery bill.  I clip coupons, I check online for them, and I always get any rebate I can.  We also try to buy generic foods and household supplies whenever we can.  Neither the kids or my husband can tell the difference in taste anyway, and it saves big bucks.
