The Irony of Entering Phlebotomy College and Become a Phlebotomy Technician

12:56 pm Reference and Education

The irony of the fear of blood and working with blood best describes my job. I started to fear blood when I was in eight. I was brought to the hospital and they needed my blood samples to diagnose my illness. I was injected several times and it was very painful. From then on, I started to fear the needle and most especially the blood. But, what I didn’t understand was the fact that I went to a phlebotomy college and now I am a Phlebotomy Technician.  I must say, I enjoy it and I am proud of my job.
