Right when my classmates in the university were doing odd jobs to earn their pocket money, I managed to earn a decent amount by working as a part time New York Tutor. Working as a tutor was beneficial to me in more than one way. First comes the monetary benefit. Next, I had an extra qualification that I could very well include in my resume. This gave me an edge over my fellow students. I used to tutor high school students and their thirst for knowledge was high and they listened to my classes with more interest. This boosted my dedication and I taught the students with much more conviction. This gave me a sense of satisfaction and made me realise the true meaning of tutoring.
