Economic conditions have really turned bad this year.  They have certainly hit my daughter’s family too. Her husband was laid off last year and still has not found work.  My daughter is working her day job as a secretary at the law firm and now she tutors at night.  She is studying to be an attorney herself but is tutoring others in some of the lower level classes to make extra money.  I honestly do not know how she finds time to do it all. I have offered the two of them money to make it through, but they are stubborn and always refuse it.  I must admit that makes me proud of them too.
