Coral Castle

The Coral Castle, located in Homestead Florida, is a popular tourist attraction. Located just 34 miles south of Miami, this little known megalithic structure was created by one man, Edward Leedskalnin, during the 1920s and 1940s. Some of the blocks of coral way in excess of 30 tons.  The entire structure consists of 1100 tons of coral, creating one of the most unique structures on Earth. Weighing only 100 pounds, and standing a mere 5 feet in height, Ed was able to create the Coral Castle using only primitive tools and never asked for any help.
