My yearly trip is always a big event for me. I save money out of each pay check and put aside any extra money I get as gifts all year. There is always a careful consideration of how I will travel. Some years I drove to different cities and spent most of my money on shopping and theatre tickets. Some years I have taken cruise ships and enjoyed the programming they offer and the relaxation of having so much nearby as we are cruising across the ocean. Some years I fly and spend much of my money on tickets for travel and hotels.
