My brother had been out of a job for a few months.  He called me at work all the time because he did not have anything to do except watch television all day.  I told him that he needed to get a job because I could not keep talking to him all the time to help him pass the day.  He decided to look for a job that he felt he could have for a long time, not just a part time job in between jobs.  My brother ended up getting hired at a foreign exchange company. He helps people with all their foreign exchange needs.
